Notified your way

You decide which kinds of notifications reach which of your apps — set once, in categories that make sense, and the platform enforces it everywhere.

The preference grid

Notifications come in a handful of categories — social (mentions, messages), commerce (orders, payments), account, system. For each category you flip channels on or off:

In-app (the bell) is always on — it's the record, and it's flood-proof by design, so there's nothing to fear from it (The bell).
Your connected messaging apps (Telegram today, more coming) — per category, your call.
Email — when the product has it enabled, same per-category control. Nothing to connect or pair: it simply goes to your account's verified email address.

No per-event micromanagement, no forty toggles — categories are the dial.

Quiet hours

Each connected app can carry quiet hours (say, 22:00–07:00): during them, routine notifications hold. Truly urgent items — the rare "something is genuinely wrong" class — are the one exception that cuts through. Your in-app inbox always receives everything regardless, so quiet hours never cost you information, only interruptions.

The no-spam promises (engineering, not policy)

First one fast, the rest batched: the first occurrence of something reaches you immediately; a burst of follow-ups arrives as a periodic "12 more" digest, spacing out the longer it goes on.
Hard hourly caps per app — a runaway producer physically cannot buzz your phone hundreds of times; overflow folds into digests. Nothing is dropped — collapsed, never lost.
The storm breaker: a true event-flood collapses into a single updating message with a closing summary. The system is engineered to never DDoS your attention — precisely when things break is when you need signal, not noise.

Good habits

Start conservative (the defaults are); widen a category to a channel when you notice yourself wishing you'd heard sooner.
