Post it — words, photos, video
Your feed is your corner of the platform: write it, illustrate it, and control exactly who sees it.
What a post can be
- Words — short or long-form, with
@mentionsand#hashtagsthat actually do things (Hashtags & being discovered). - Photos — attached full-size; the platform makes the fast-loading versions automatically.
- Video — attach it and it travels with the post.
- Conversation — every post carries comments and emoji reactions.
Who sees it
- Posts on your profile follow your profile's visibility dial — public to the world, or signed-in only (Your profile is yours).
- Posts in an organization's spaces follow that space's audience: the org's public feed, its members-only feed, or a group's space — the audience is visible where you post.
- Mentioning someone (
@handle) taps them on the shoulder — a notification, not a broadcast.
Editing & removing
- Edit a post any time — edited posts carry a small "edited" marker, honest and unobtrusive.
- Delete leaves a "removed" marker so conversations under it keep their shape; the content itself is gone from view.
Good habits
- Lead with the sentence you'd want quoted — feeds reward clarity.
- Tag deliberately: one or two
#hashtagsthat truly fit beat six that almost do. - Remember which space you're posting into — profile, org, or group; the audience line above the composer always says.
Did you know? Attach a photo once and the platform serves the right size everywhere — the thumbnail in a feed, the full image on tap — you never resize anything yourself.
