Keeping your space healthy
When someone reports content in your organization's spaces, you get a queue, the facts as they were, and two clean actions — with every decision leaving an accountability trail.
The report queue
Reports on content in your org's spaces land in your moderation queue (owners and admins see it). Each report carries the reason, the reporter's note, and — crucially — a snapshot of the content as it was at the moment of the report. Deleting the evidence after the fact doesn't work here; you always judge what was actually said.
Your two actions
- Dismiss — the report doesn't warrant action; the content stands. The report closes and is kept for your records.
- Remove — the content is taken down, replaced by a small "removed by moderator" marker so the conversation around it keeps its shape. No silent black holes: removal is visible as removal, which is itself a signal your space is tended.
The accountability trail
Every moderation decision — who acted, what they did, when — is written to a ledger that cannot be edited or deleted, by anyone, ever. That protects your moderators ("here's exactly what we did and why") and your members (no shadow moderation).
The boundaries that protect everyone
- Moderators act on content in your org's spaces — posts, comments in your feeds and groups. Members' DMs are not yours to read; private conversations enter review only when a participant reports them, and then to platform review, not org staff.
- Members always keep their personal tools too — block, mute, report (Your conversation, your rules).
Good habits
- Dismiss freely — a healthy queue has dismissals in it. Remove decisively when it's warranted.
- Tell your members how you moderate (a pinned members-feed post works) — visible standards prevent more than removals do.
Did you know? Rate limits are working for you around the clock — spam-floods and report-bombing are throttled by the platform before they ever reach your queue.
